A Peek at my Corner of the World!!!!

Well, I decided that my craft room was just NOT cutting it.  We moved in October and still have Dave's dad living with us, but I lost the "sun room" (if there is such a thing in Western Washington...sun that is...).  SO, I had to cram all my stuff into our Master Bedroom, good thing that baby is pretty good sized... so, here is what I came up with today.  I still need to finish a few details to pretty it up, but I have to point out my 8x8 and 6x6 paper storage idea, it was intended to be for my collection of different types of white CS but it was a smidge too big.  I need to cover the fact it is a Auto Trader rack and my letters on my wall need to have some PizzAZZ added to them but... anyway, here is my humble abode!!!!  LOVE it! I do have to say, it's nice to be in a house that isn't ALL white walls....

The Color Throwdown is a FUN challenge blog and this weeks colors made me think of Summer.  Having my JillyBean Soup papers on my desk still made me TOTALLY go there... ;)  I used my new stamp from Market Street Stamps called Tiki Time, it was paper pieced on the "wood" slats and three layers for the hut roof! I layered this onto a piece of burlap also from Market Street Stamps.   MFT Tag You're It Dienamic, Catch a Wave dienamic and some Twine from The Ribbon Carousel tied to a PTI button finish it off!

Week 4... Woot Woot!!!  :)  MFTWSC56 uses JillyBean Watermelon Gazpacho Soup papers, PTI and MFT CS, MFT Upsy Daisy Dienamic, MFT Fred Bear Oopsie Daisy and Crocheted Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.  Yes, I'm avoiding the cold winter with this bright card! ;)  Blame me?  tee hee

EEEK... Can you believe it?  I am still having a hard time thinking it's real!  Cindy and Frances invited me to come and play where it's OK to be CA-RAZY!!!!  See, I AM Normal!!!  LOL  This weeks challenge we are to Layer it on, you know like a cheap perfume, but in a hoity toity way! ;)  Now lemme tell you, I have had me some Cheap perfume, but I digress... I used my MFT A la Mode Hot Cocoa from the last release.  I LOVE this gal, you could pretend it was a latte instead of Cocoa ifun you want to ;)  I chose to go ahead and make it cocoa... I have THREE pictures of my card, yep, I'm a blog hop hog!  Gotta bask in this sunshine!!!!!

Winter 2012 Olympia

Just a few snow pictures, we ended up with 15 inches last night.  Had it not snowed, melted some, snowed, melted some we would be WAY over 2 ft worth of snow, but I'll settle for 15 inches... being an Adult with snow kinda changes your thoughts on accumulation!  But I still love the stillness in the air it brings...

A Co-workers wife fell a few weeks ago and ended up having to get pins (6 of them) in her wrist... eeek... So I made her a card to send to her from all of us at work.  I used some left over Recollections paper from my TCP ATC's, a few MFT Dienmaics (Jumbo scallop and Scallop Ribbon Border ) , MFT Always Time for Tea stamp/die combo and some twine.

I also added some Clear EP to the tea pot after stamping it so that it has a bit more "pow" power, along with clear gel pen on the Paper Smooches Sentiment from Sentiment Sampler.  In the corners are some Red Viva Pearl Pen Pearls...

Alrighty then best get this loaded then load ME into the car and head for work!

The Cat's Pajama's ATC Swap

Hello, I wanted to share with you my ATC I created for a swap hosted on The Cat's Pajama's Forum over at Splitcoaststampers.  I had a TON of fun with this ATC, usually they are very intimidating however these playful penguins, Larry, Darryl and Darryl are SO easy to play with.  I used the set Good Friends along with the cut up Icing  Some FUN Recollections papers that I had jump out at me while shopping for paper, some black satin ribbon and some Cherry Divine Twine.  I stamped with Archival Jet Black and then remembered the Copic rule. LOL SO, I colored using a water color technique with my Tim Holtz Christmas Distress Inks.

My FIRST Cat's Pajama's Challenge Card.  It's to add Texture.  A Bit of glitter, a bit of a Embossing Folder, some Jody Boosters, baby brads, twine and Touch Twin Markers, Snowflake Cut Up and the STAR of the card TCP "Snow Buddies" stamp set make this card CUTE!!!  I LOVE this card!!!!  What do YOU think?  Is that Bunny not THE cutest lil big eared fella ???  LOVE him!!!

Here we are Week 2 of 52 for 2012!!!  I have been itching to get busy with this stamp set and dienamic from the latest release!!!  Today was the day... a new sketch, some days off, shoot, match made in Heaven!!! ;)

I used MFT Who's That Parisian Girl, Eiffel Tower Dienamic, ruffled ribbon and and older Basic Grey Christmas paper.  The top DP reminded me of French Toile ... The links I provided help you get RIGHT to the items, so you can click and buy! ;)

It's a new year and a new group of challenges over at the MFT Forum on SCS.  Last year out of 52 challenges I only completed 20, boo, but... like I said, it's The Year of KJ so I'm off and running... YAY ME! LOL  I also am entering this challenge into the Play Date Cafe challenge, PDCC113.

It's past Christmas and I'm itching for Spring, are you?  I just love fresh grass and getting the mower out that first go so my grass is all pretty... after that yea, ummm, fun is over!  LOL  Anyway, I am using the colors of the PDCC challenge of Juniper, Mint and Cream... well, MY version *wink*  I used MFT Goodies for my card : PI Warm Fuzzies; Dizzy Doily Duo Dienamics (say that three times fast); Dizzy Border; First Place Award Dienamics.  A Bit of bling and some paper piecing.  Now, I had to do things the hard way...apparently after I complete a card I figure out a short cut, BUT... I did the out of the box technique for my image and then realised "HEY! I could have just cut it normal and then the paper piecing would have covered up the cut off ears"... but, maybe they would have been a bit floppy?   Well, regardless that is what I did, out of the box technique and paper piecing and paper piercing.  My ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel. Here is my card at any rate! **grin**

 I'm really excited to have my Photo Shop Elements 7 arrive a friend of mine **waving** Vicki is sending me an extra.  I have always just been au de natural... as you can see, even with a light box I have some shadow issues, perhaps its just life in the Great Pacific Northwest?! 

The inside I stamped the image again using London Fog and then placed a Dizzy Border at the top to finish it off... whaddya say?  Want a hug from this little cutie?  I sure do! *tee hee*

Happy New Year Friends!!! :)  2012 is here and I thought I'd load up a card that has been in the works for a few days.  I have been working on it between sleeps.  I did some paper piecing and created this card for my BELOVED OREGON DUCKS!!!!!  You know they are headed to the Rose Bowl! ;)  Watch out Bucky... QUACK ATTACK!!!!!!

 PI Cheerleader, MFT Pretty Pocket Dienamic and the new Scalloped Flower.  Older MFT Ribbon and buttons.

The pocket "tag" on the side was stamped with the All Star stamp dienamic combo released last month!

Here is the tag I created pulled out of the pocket... tee hee... she is cheering with ROSES not pom poms! ;)  The tag is using the Tag You're It Dienamic... I LOVE this die....
