C4C130 Its a Sketch
It's time for a sketch... and it's an AWESOME sketch.... being somewhat of a newbie at this blog stuff, for some reason if I link a sketch it makes the rest of my blog disappear... LOL SO.... you will have to see the sketch HERE , this is also where you will check out the rest of the crazies and their take on the sketch... I LOVE today as I can see the cards in action... YAY!!!!! OK so here is MY card....
My Minds Eye -On The Bright Side papers were used along with the BRAND NEW Pure Innocence stamps from the monthly VIP Kit, apparently it sold out in record time... I also used the Scalloped Rolled Rose that came with the VIP kit. My country Girl likes her bling as all cow chicks do... I know I sure do... ;) Taylored Expressions Tiny Twinkles were used... and they ARE tiny!!!! *sproing* went a couple to who knows where in the carpet! LOL

Mark's Finest Papers Challenge Week 13- Easter
It's Challenge time over at Mark's Finest Papers-A Heinrich Company. YAY!!!!
I used the MFP Dogwood stamp set newly released and of course MFP CS, can I tell ya that I LOVE this stuff? Seriously... it packs a punch without the pounds!!!! ;) I paper pieced the dogwood image 4 times using My Mind's Eye DP in Blush. The image was first stamped and cut out the whole image in the green striped paper. I then stamped the image 3 times onto the pink paper; cut out just the flowers, then just two flowers and then just the one flower. I did cut an additional leaf to give it some oomph also! Some yellow skittles were used in the center and then took some Touch Twin markers to add shadow and depth to the flowers and the leaves! Well, here it is....

Hello!!! It's time to celebrate the Green over at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog... It's ALL about the GREEN!!!
I used my MFT A La Mode Wishing You Luck I hadn't inked this baby yet and this was the perfect time. I used My Minds Eye Lime Twist "Go Fly a Kite" DP for the card and some SUPER Awesome Ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel. Those little dingle balls are the PERFECT size for a card... for some reason I'm thinking Dingle Balls is NOT the right word but I'm gonna roll with it anyway! ..A couple of stick pins Maya Roads and Taylored Expression and it's DONE. Here is my card and after you oo and aww over it (tee hee) come play with us HERE

C4C127 Spring Time
It's Spring time up here, and Frances who lives down under challenged us to do something that shows Spring. Well, here in Washington State, Spring means RAIN.... so I decided to use Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps using Rainy Day Ruby . I used My Minds Eye DP "On the Bright Side" for my papers, some nesties for the image and some white lace trim that I spritzed with Tim Holtz Pearls mist in Forever Red to help it go with the card. Goosebumps again for the rain texture. I used my Touch Twin markers to color this image...

It's the 200th sketch over at The Cat's Pajama's. There are SO many AWESOME Cat's Pack examples to look at and some EXCITING NEWS... you really should click and check it out! ;)
I figured I'd get a jump and finish my Anniversary card for Dave. It's our 18th year this June. I stamped TCP Bingo set along with the super cute Love Hurts set. the Bingo background was cut to match the sketch, I fussy cut the bunny and paper pieced his wings and popped him up. Cut ups were also used (flower and fancy edge). MME All Dolled Up DP and MME Miss Caroline Stick Pins along with some crinkly ribbon and a wood button tied up with TCP Twine finish this baby off. Notice the "25" is raised a bit? Yep, that is the date and I just stamped that number and cut it out and used a glue dot to give it a slight oomph in height! ;)

I'm doing a two-fer this week. Its time for Frances to challenge us Crazies and she started out with a DOOZY... a Card that does something a little different, in other words, FUNKY FOLDS!!! My Nemesis...
I decided to do a Frances Center Step Card (that is the link to the "how to"). I am combining this card with the MFT Guest DT contest. It's all about books... Well, I pulled out my Jolinne Once Upon a Time set and the only paper pack that survived the pilfering fingers of the Post Office in my latest order from I {heart} papers; My Mind's Eye "Blink of an Eye". The elephant was paper pieced and then I stamped Jolinne again and colored then cut her out. MFT Mini Crown Dienamic and some bling finish off the bottom, the sides are adorned with SU!
