Drunken Stampers #116~The Avengers meets C4C

Hello peeps!  I'm popping in with a TWO-fer card today!  I combined challenges from Drunken Stampers~The Avengers and Crazy4Challenges, layers and texture.

Today I am using Your Next Stamp for my image, he's called Super Hero Ethan.  He's a riot!  I started off by stamping him onto Express Blending CS and then again on another piece.  I stamped him a 3rd time onto DP and cut out his cape (including his body).  I colored up his body on the second image and cut it out and paper pieced that on top of the cape.

The challenge for C4C is layers and texture, so I distressed my image flag and matting, then ran the DP under the image through my chevron embossing folder.  it didn't show up all that great, so I took my Memento ink pad and ran it direct to paper over the raised images to bring out the chevrons that kinda mimic the lightening bolt on his belt and the felt zigzag I placed on the card.  The sentiment comes with the set and I stamped it onto the Tags Galore Two die.  Added several pieces of Black jute and popped that up on Dimensionals! :) a few red blings and done! :)

Tasty Tuesday Fudgey Yummy!

Here is the card I created with these YUMMY cookies in mind.  Well, it's version TWO of the card I HAD in mind, my lil guy was going to be holding a cool glass of a Mudslide!  But darn!  those glasses were just TOO big....so I opted for a big ole Cuppie!  :)  Fall Fun Bear is sittin on the sand chillin with his cuppie underneath the nice warm sun! :)

Crazy4Challenges 172~Valentine's Hearts

Hey Peeps!  Guess who is here this week!  **sigh**

This week over at Crazy4Challenges we are challenged to make a Valentine's Card... but NO RED OR PINK!

Yep!  Let's show our lovey dovey side using other colors! ;)

Today I created a VERY simple CAS card.  I used a wooden key from Prima, so SU! Ribbon, Falling Hearts Die from Simon Says Stamps and a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays new set called Loving Thoughts.

Drunken Stampers #114~Finding Nemo

Hey Peeps, I have been a stamping fool and wasn't quite foolish enough apparently as this weeks challenge ran up and bit me in the bum.... SO, I am revisiting a card I created while on the Mark's Finest Design Team.  It is using the Oh Crab set from MFP!

I mean, seriously... CUTE right???  lol

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday TRAVEL!!!!

Hey Peeps!!!  It's time to take a VACATION... YNS STYLE!!!!!  Woot!  Where would YOU travel to?  Snow, Sand, Foreign Country? Fun Friday at the YNS Challenge Blog is LIVE!

I chose to return to France!  I used the UBER Cute Pierre from France.  Look at that loaf of French Bread!!!  I LIVED on Bread and Water, as I had spent ALL of my money in Spain and Portugal by the time I got to France!  It's a good thing I'm a Carb Girl!  lol  That stuff was SO SO SO DEEEELISH!!!!!  mmmmm, I'd GLADLY go back just for a loaf of bread, but I will have to settle on the Fresh from the Wal Mart Bakery and get my fix there based on the ol Budget!!! :(

Kaiser Kraft CS is used along with a SUPER Cool Bling Eiffel Tower from Prima.  A Bit of masking got the entire stamp set on that lil piece of express paper!  :)

TCP Tuesday Challenges are BACK!

WOOT!!!  Alma took a lil Vacation and is now back and ready to go!  Which means TCP Tuesday is UP AND RUNNING!!!!  I gotta say, so was I when I saw this!  Running to my Craft Cave!  I DO love me some Cat's Pajamas!!!!  I used the UBER cute Bun in the set called Bloom!  I LOVE me that Bun!!!! 

The challenge is to use a stamp set in a new way, like a Christmas set as a Birthday set.... etc.... OR you can take some of those Yummy Cut Ups in a whole new direction.  I chose this! ;)

I used the Cut Ups called Flower Buttons.  These are one of the first sets of Cut Ups I bought... It was the beginning of the end for me, I am ADDICTED to dies!!!!! Can I get an AMEN!  I cut 4 sets of the flower cut ups.  I took matching flowers and stuck them together.  I then attached them to a scrap piece of cardstock with 2 way glue.  I put my mat piece over the top and ran it through my Big Shot Pro with the thin rubber mat.  This created my own Embossing Folder!  YAY!  I lightly sanded the flowers to give them a bit of pop.  The CS I used is my newest addiction...Pool Party Co ordinations CS from SU!  A Few pearls in my embossed flowers along with in Bun's Bouquet and it was complete!  :)

RCC77 Love is in the Air

Hello Ribbon Carousel Peeps!  It's time for another challenge.  This time it's "Love is in the Air"  Yep!  The Ribbon Carousel Challenges are STILL continuing, even though Corinna has closed the store, she has a few new organizing goodies up her sleeve.  Trust me, you WILL want to peep them when they come out, you will also want to play along as she is still giving away a Ribbon Carousel to one lucky winner!!!  YAY!!!!

SO, for today's card I used Bazill CS in Hot Lips and Marshmallow.  I stamped a stamp from Wplus9 repeatedly, and then chose one lucky heart to get filled in with Red Stickles!  Some Red and White Gingham ribbon tied into a nifty bow and attached.  Viola!  Easy Peasy!

Challenge Chicks #3~ Valentines!!!!

Hello Peeps!!!!  It's time for another challenge with my Peeps!!!!  Today it's Valentines!  I LOVE Squishy Mushy cards, even though that is SO far from my behavior!!!! 

Today I used the Sassy CC Designs "Sweet" stamp set that I bought off of a Craft Swap site at Facebook.  I used the Animal Print papers from Echo Park's DP line called Love Story and paper pieced her dress, she's a HOT lil number!!!!! ;)
