Be Inspired May/June Everything Wonderful Challenge

While cruising through the forums over at Splitcoaststampers I saw my friend Lisa Henke posting about a Challenge at Unity!  I went on a spree looking for Unity Stamps after winning a Phyllis Harris stamp.  The quality of Unity Stamps is amazing!  SO, I was given this little flourish and decided it would be perfect for the sketch/color challenge for this months challenge at the Unity Blog.



Here is my card using Stampin' Up! new In colors...Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Slate Gray.

2 more TCP Challenge Cards!

Came home to happy mail today from The Cat's Pajamas, so to get out of my "My Baby is done playing High School Fast Pitch" funk... I made some cards!!!  I just can NOT believe she is DONE! :(  She still has her Summer Select Team, but what a mile stone we have hit!  She ended her career with a Trip to State.  Sadly, they didn't fair to well, but THEY MADE IT!!!!!  SO... anyway, to my cards... I received my new release sets today and had to get them inky!  I even dusted off an older Darryl! ;)

A Bit of Flower soft on the first one, and I'm still trying to figure out the water color pencils... still not liking actual water color paper... and the second card was colored with the new In Colors from SU! and a water pen!

Crazy4Challenge 187 CAS

Hey Peeps!  Barbara brought us a challenge, over at Crazy4Challenges, that is pretty cool.... NO Designer Paper!  Make it CAS or not, but NO commercial made designer paper!!!

I created my card CAS in preparation for my Sister's 50th Birthday!  MAJOR OMG!  lol  I haven't let her live it down that she is ON THE EDGE OF OLD!!!! ;)

I used Paper Smooches "Slang Gang" and the Paper Smooches Numbers Dies.  Some scrap paper, a touch of Twine and the newly released Your Next Stamp Arrow dies.  LOVE this card!  lol

Your Next Stamp After Party Hop!!!!!

Hey Peeps!  Well, did you hop around and see all the awesome cards my fellow YNS'ers made???  Fabulous or what???!!!!  Karen just keeps on pumping out CUTE from that little stamp factory of a brain!

Today we are doing a little post release party hop!!!  Yep, we will be doing it every month on the 24th!!!!

Today I used the "hold my belly from laughing CUTE" new stamp set called "Crash" lol  isn't he fun??!!!
I colored Crash with my Touch Twin markers and a few Copics I've picked up.!!!  Some braided burlap ribbon was used to anchor down the FUN new die called "Large Film Strip Die". The DP is **NEW** from Stampin Up and I LOVE that paper, it kinda resembles barn board but in Boho Chic colors! ;)  A couple jewels from Bo Bunny and that was it!  :)  Super Fun and Super Cute!!!

It's May Release Time at Your Net Stamp

Hey Peeps!  MAJOR Fun ahead... it's release time at Your Next Stamp.  There are TONS of CUTE goodies being released and I am sharing cards using 2 of the released images.

First up is a card using the CUTE new Phoebe!  These little fairies are just too cute!

Now my 2nd card uses the also CUTE little DIE set.... it's AWESOME!!!!  This card is pefect for a BBQ invite, I LOVE BBQ Invites! ;)

My Ribbon Carousels!!!!

Hey peeps just a quick little post to share my Ribbon Carousels with you!  I LOVE having things in ROY G BIV order so I have my carousels that way also!  Sadly, I need 5 more to complete the project but that will have to wait until I get more carousels and spools!!!!  :)  BUT... for now, here is what I have!!! 

I even used one of them to corral my Washi Tapes!  LOVE this!!!!

It's SKETCH time over at Crazy4Challenges.  Barbara came up with a GOOD one!!!!  I LOVE Sketches...

 
I came up with a Fun Bright card using NEW SU! Goodies! ;)  I about FLIPPED when I saw this set... I am a BIG Quatrefoil Fan!  **never knew the name** lol  but I just think it's an AWESOME Design, perhaps its because I grew up in the 70's and we had black wrought iron (everything) with this shape!!!  Here is my card!!!!

YNS Tasty Tuesday~Cupcake Style

Hey Peeps!  It's time for another Tasty Tuesday at Your Next Stamp.  The inspiration picture is SO CUTE!~  Makes the brain just SPIN with possibilities....

Is that CUTE or WHAT???  The bright FUN colors just scream at you to play along.  I created a fun whimsical card using the new Pin Wheel die, along with FUN Doodlebug DP and gems. 

Does that scream Summer Fun or WHAT???  :)  I added a bit of grass using the Flower Fun Spring Grass die also.

Crazy4Challenges 185

Hey Peeps!  It's time for another challenge over at the C4C Blog!  This time Barbara has given us an inspiration photo to use as a "jumping off point" :)  I'm a literal person when it comes to picture inspiration, so I made my version of the starfish!  LOL  I really envy those that can see a picture and go with it.... I feel like I have to recreate the piece... SO, I DID! tee hee.

I used Stampin Up! CS, Tim Holtz brick wall embossing folder to mimic the rocks.  The "Star Fish" were created using The Cats Pajamas Star cutups.  CAS Fridays "Breathe" set gave me my sentiment.  Some Gray Liquid Pearls and Silver Stickles, along with some ribbon and Viola!  Instant Starfish on rocks picture! ;)

Queen for the Day 164~Sandy!

I took a break from making my final month of Dirty Dozen cards and decided to knock out the challenge at The Cats Pajamas.  While cruising through the forum, I saw a new Queen was crowned and my card was created!!!! :)

I used the Butterfly cut up from TCP and some MS Glitter, couldn't find my sticky paper so ended up using strips of Score Tape.  YIKES!  lol  One of the most recent sentiment sets was used along with some bling.  SU Rich Razzleberry is my paper of choice!

Here is the card I CASE'd of Sandy's! 





Now, off I go to Mr Linky in hopes of WOW'ing Alma and getting SWANKY! :)

Challenge Chicks~May Color Challenge

Hey Peeps!  It's time for another challenge with the Challenge Chicks.  this one was SO easy, it seriously took me 12 minutes to complete!  Great color challenge by Diane, I LOVE a color challenge.

Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango.  I used my SAB set from Stampin' Up!  and some SU! Bling.  Soft Suede for my sentiment and mat.  Easy Peasy! :)

Clearly Your Next Stamp Hop

Today we have some exciting news to share with you.  Your Next Stamp is releasing CLEAR STAMPS!!!!  YES!  You heard me correctly, along with the awesome Purple Rubber, Karen now has Clear photopolymer stamps being release!  Now as if that wasn't exciting enough... get this... SOME lucky hopper will win this...

How 'bout THEM apples!!!  :)  For my first card today I used the new Clear stamps called Cute Circles and Happy Day Sentiments.  I paired them with Ellie Loves the Beach.  I used some fun new DP and some ribbon that totally reminds of me of a lawn chair.  :)  I stamped the "Summer" sentiment onto CS cut with the Fishtail Banner Die set and tucked it behind my Cute Circle that was cut with a nestie.

My second card showcases Ipod Teen Girl along with the Happy Day Sentiment "So Cool!"  LOVE this set, it's got so many CUTE sentiments to use! The DP is brand spankin new from Stampin Up!  Some new Washi tape from SU! and some fun trendy twine.  The image was colored with Touch Twin Markers and Copics!  The button is from my stash!  Some Recollection gems and done!
