TCP Tuesday 254~Valentine Decor

Hey Peeps! It's a new Tuesday and that means a new challenge over at The Cats Pajamas.

This week Noelle has challenged us to create a Valentine Decor. SO.... I decided to take a cute little set of candles and add some Swanky!!!!

I saw the pedestals at JoAnn's a few weeks ago but was NOT paying $10 a piece for them.... I went in yesterday and there they were at 50% off! **insert angels singing**
Now about that yesterday part... tee hee... I have been a BUSY GIRL with work, but this just PROVES that TCP cut ups are SO EASY to swanky stuff up with... seriously! This project took me longer to edit the pictures and type this then it did to make it! ;)

I rolled 4 of the Heart Rosettes through my Big shot and then 6 of the Heart Flourish. The rosettes were joined using Score tape and the flourishes were attached to my candle using Tombow Mono Adhesive, that stuff sticks EVERYTHING.... I scattered some yummy candies around (also 50% off) and DONE! :)

HAPPY ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!

Hey Peeps! It's OFFICIAL... TODAY! I have been invited to join the AWESOME Paper Loft Design Team!!!!! WOOOT!!!! They have BEAUTIFUL papers available and I am SO excited to play with these peeps!!!!

Here is my announcement card using this months Sketch Challenge....

I created this card using Island Sun DP and Shades of Gray DP. The stamp set is from Stampin Up called Follow My Heart and it has a crumb cake heart punch (also SU). The ribbon at the top is from The Cats Pajamas and the flower is Heidi Swapp!

C4C220 Color Challenge

Hey Peeps! It's the final week of January... can you believe it?? Sheesh... I figured now that I am older and I move slower time would too! LOL but... Nope! January is a GONER.... BUT, before it goes completely, we have the final Crazy4Challenges challenge from Sarah and it's a color challenge... Pink, Aqua, Chocolate and Cream.

SO... I grabbed the UBER awesome Chevron BG stamp from Stampin' Up! and the In Colors and set to work.

The background was stamped in Strawberry Slush, I then took a piece of Coastal Cabana and used the large scallop frame lit, after cutting the shape I ran it through using the Chevron embossing folder. All of this was mounted onto Baked Brown Sugar. A few gems at the top colored with my ink pad to match. I then stamped the sentiment from Love you to the Moon stamp set and mounted it on Baked Brown Sugar, placed it kattywhoompus and DONE! :)

Paper Smooches Guest Designer Try

Hey peeps! I was sittin there foolin' around on FB and saw a Paper Smooches card pop up in my feed. I DO love the humor of PS Stamps... seriously, CUTE STUFF!!!! SO, I clicked over to the page to see what all I had missed lately, FB feeds aren't all that in order for me, and saw there were only 26 hours to link a card to be a Guest Designer for PS.... I thought, "Well, HEY! I'm gonna do it...!!!!!" so I did!

I used the set Falling for You from Paper Smooches. It's a VERY CAS Card. Image was stamped and colored with copics. The wings, eyeballs and legs have 2 coats of clear gel pen on them.... only his belly is "fuzzy" ;)

I stamped the heart on the main panel and again on Real Red CS and cut it out, then traced the plaid lines with clear glitter pen, added a pop dot and then wrapped some Divine Twine around to give Fred a place to chill....some baby pearls to set off the sentiment and DONE! :)

Thanks for popping in!!!! I'll go add my card to the 90 BOZILLION others that are there! But look at it this way... I completed a card AND I have another LOOOOOVE card ready! :) tee hee! YAY LOVEY DOVEY ME!

RCC89 Love & Chicken Soup

Welcome to RCC89! This week it's about Love and Chicken Soup... you know, thinking of you card for those feeling under the weather or just cuz ya Love 'em! :)

I went with a Love card. I used all Stampin Up for my card. The stamp set is called Banner Blast, it's a freebie during Sale A Bration (SAB), the matching punch (also SAB), the dots Embossing Folder (SAB) and then some ruffled ribbon in Strawberry Slush. The blue is Coastal Cabana. :)

This sweet little "love" framelit is from the Winter Occasions catalog. :) It's a tricky bugger to get out, so just use patience! :)

C4C219 ~ Sketch Time

Hey Peeps! Welcome to another challenge at Crazy4Challenges.... This week it's a sketch!!!! LOVED this sketch, that star thingie threw me for a bit, but I had an A-HA! moment and grabbed my poppy punch from Stampin' Up!

The stamp set I used is called Morning Meadow. It's a Hostess Set. The colors are Cherry Cobler and Always Artichoke. Some SU DP and then a hand cut banner for the sentiment. The flower is doubled with a dimensional in between the flowers and the petals curled. I did snip in between the petals to give them more movement. I used my markers to color up the stamp, somewhat quickly then gave it a huff n puff and stamped it! :) Being full of hot air (right Frances) helps! :)

Little Ol' me

Hello there!!!! Today there is a hop going on over at Mark's Finest Papers. I just have an extra card to share in case you came by! :)

I just stamped the image on a piece of scratch I had laying about and mounted it on some black cs. The wood floor was hand drawn and colored with copics. SO super simple but what a great AWWWW kinda thing right? :)

True Love

Hello there!!!! Today there is a hop going on over at Mark's Finest Papers. I just have an extra card to share in case you came by! :)

My card was created by stamping the swan on top first, then grabbed the solid swan and stamping it upside down to look like a reflection. The first swan was masked and then I used some chalks to create the evening sky! a few blings in the sky for a beautiful starry night.

Hey Peeps!!! It's time for a new challenge over at Crazy4Challenges... this one threw me for a minute until my smarter than me co-crazies broke it down for me... LOL SO... for those measurement challenged... just do this... take a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 Cardstock and short end up, cut off a 3 1/2 " piece of CS. NOW you are ready to make is SNAZZY!!!!! ..

Here is what I came up with!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my card... It just makes me GIGGLE!!!! lol

This is a Stampin Up only card... I used new SAB freebies, some DP from the Occasions cattie and the cute little girl monster valentine for my card. I snuck in the Heart A Flutter stamp and framelit set and a doily!!!!

Hey there! Today I have Gigi, Girl Friday! ;) LOL I just couldn't resist making her look all Colorado-ian.... I can't wear nice warm suede stuff here in Western Washington, kinda gets soggy and then HEAVY... ;) This is 3 layers of the paper doll clothing. Body, skirt/boots/shirt, and then jacket.... It helps build it up for depth and realistic look (it also helps ya blend you can color outside the lines and no one will know! ;)

My card today is a very elegant but CAS card... a TON of blending on this baby and I ended up grabbing my C3 Copic to get the deep shade I was after... yep, you can use grays to create shadows when coloring just use a lighter pen... Her cape is black satin with all that "shine" ;)
