Stamping with a Dream KELLI: March 2014

Hey Peeps!!!! It's Tuesday and that means a new challenge over at The Cats Pajamas!!!!! Now there is a bunch of new information, changing things up a bit so make SURE you head over and read up! Alma has the skinny posted! :)

SO, this challenge is called "What's Your Number?" use a number or numbers somewhere on your card!!!! I decided to pull out an ADORABLE old faithful called BINGO! I stamped the Bingo onto Creme CS using Crumb Cake SU ink, the Free spot was stamped in Cherry Cobler then punch out of Kraft with the small heart punch. The card base is Creme CS with some Crumb Cake layered and then I took a super cool piece of wood DP from Simple Stories and ran it through my Big Shot Pro using the Dots Cut Up die. I used pop dots (tons) to adhere it to another piece of DP from Simple Stories. PJ Bear (Bearing Flowers) was stamped on Creme CS using Crumb Cake ink and it has the appearance of the no line stamp.... colored with Copics and then the center of the flower was paper pieced with some more of the cute heart DP featured in the background. PJ was popped up on dimensions too..... now just to let you know... there were 39 dimensionals used on this card... that is a TON of OOMPH right there I'm tellin' ya! :)

Crazy4Challenges 229

Hey Peeps! It's time for my last challenge as hostess over at Crazy4Challenges.... Today it's all about surprises in your card, flips, secret doors, or like me an Easel Card. These cards are my FAVORITE to make for "fancy folds" lol Not supre fancy but LOW STRESS! ;)

Here is my card! I used the SUPER SUPER CUTE stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Think Spring Bunnies, which I bought from Quick Creations. I paired it with some Lawn Fawn DP and some bitty flowers I punched using a SU punch and some itty bitty blings... the cloudy sky was made using my The Cats Pajamas cloud border cut up and some Pan Pastel Turquoise chalk. The word "Spring" well that is the super cute new "outline alpha" bet from The Sweet Stamp Shop! :)

Release Day is HERE!!!! TCP Tuesday TOO!

SO...(Rachel) did ya shop yet? You KNOW Alma has a savings involved on Release Night right??? ;)

Tonight I'm sharing a card I made for the Release Hop and for the TCP Tuesday challenge... CLOUDS!!! I'm tellin ya, Something about Big Fat Fluffly Clouds (rain free kind) make me smiley!!!

For my card I used the Cloud Cutup Border and the clouds from the Flying By set featuring Sprinkle.... Although Sprinkle is not pictured it IS that set! ;) I stamped away and then used all 3 pieces of the new Framed Up 2 cut ups, wrapped the circle piece with some Pool Party Twine. The cloud embossing folder is from Stampin' Up! That sweet sentiment from the tag die (made to be a banner) was inspired by a post on Facebook by Jessie! LOVE it!

Here is another little diddy I cooked up using The Puck Stops Here... I used some Mylar type paper from Imagine Crafts called Vertigo... it's HORRIBLE to look at long period, so I advise you to cut and run away! LOL

TCP Sneak Day 7

OH! MY! Sparkle Lovers hang on... this gal is HOT STUFF this release... that lil thang has been hijacking the skies with her cuteness... she is the AWESOME In It to Win It poster girl too.... SQUEEEEEE!!!!!!! Sparkle fan of long... this set is ABSOLUTELY SWANKY!!!!!

Seriously... is she not CA UTE!!!!!!!????? LOVE this spicy gal!!!! I used some FUN DP with mini planes in it... of course Sparkle steals the show... a FUN little piece of a NEW Cut Up called Framed Up 2.... and some mail twine... LOL You don't know it, but I typed Wine instead of Twine... Freudian slip? ;)

OK, last time I'm gonna ask you... ARE YOU IN IT TO WIN IT?????

TCP Sneak Day 6

Hang in there Baby!

Now for those that know me... I am NOT a Sock Monkey fan... but THIS little guy... OMWORD! I think it's the miniature version that has me happy.... I LOVE it!!!!!

I stamped him once on white CS and then stamped the balloon repeatedly on scraps of Echo Park DP.... He is TOTALLY floating by!!!!! Some Cloud Cut Up boarders added and BAM! Insta-CUTE! lol

RISE AND SHINE SWANKIES!!!!!!

LOL I LOOOVE this set!!!!! Seriously CA-UTE!!!!!

I YELLED... no not a cute SQUEE but a YELL when I saw this set... I had JUST said I needed a BBEOD with a 'brella for my Pacific NW life... we have moved from Winter Rains to Spring Rains... **roll eyes**

Well, Alma was WAY ahead of me!!!! Is he not CA A A A UTE!!!!!!! I drew his little wet sidewalk with a few scattered leaves strewn about... I took my blender pen and swiped it across the sidewalk to give it that puddley look at the cracks... yes, our sidewalks puddle... :/

Impression Obsession Challenge - Green

It's been FOREVER since I played along with the Impression Obsession Challenge Blog.... I saw this stamp when it was released and HAD to have it!!!! I just get a BIG flash back to High School.... Frankie Goes to Hollywood was an all time favorite song of mine... Relax! WOOT! lol SO... to follow that 80's theme of the song I went with a rainbow... I stamped the Impression Obsession stamp Relax (B14205) and colored it with Copics, then added Spica Glitter pens and then a top coat of clear gel.... TOTALLY 80's FER SHER!!!!!

I inked up an embossing folder in my rainbow Colorbox lightly (as it's not in the proper ROY G BIV order) and then added some enamel dots for interest.

SO glad I got this stamp inky, it's a simple card but makes me smile! :)

OK, thanks for looking and now I have to hit You Tube and listen to a lil FGtoH!!!!! ;)

TCP Sneaky Peek Day 3

Well, are you SQUEEEEEE'ing yet??? I know I was SO excited for the mailman after Alma teased us with the pictures of the sets.... He really should NOT make me wait SO LONG.... LOL

Today's set... "You're Number's Up!" is all about creativity... seriously there are a SQUILLION ways to use this set... I went with classic as I ADORE my SU Vellum.....

Although VERY difficult to photograph, the cut ups are a BREEZE to use... slick as ice.... LOVE THEM!!!! All SU products used with this UBER SWANKY AWESOMELY COOL Number cut up set!!!!

TCP Sneaky Peek Day 2

Yup! The Puck Stops Here! ..... CONGRATS Canada... although my heart was rooting for USA! USA! USA!.... I am happy that if it wasn't the red white and blue it was at least 2/3rds right... LOL BAD Bracket set up... OK anyway, I digress...

It's time for BBEOD to make an appearance... first of many this release! **wink & Squee**

Yep... and guess what else you see... A FREAKING SLIDER DIE!!!! WOOO HOO!!!!! Alma hooked up up PHat!!!! Slider cards are no longer a mystery! She has a FANTASTIC how to video on Your Tube with this and the other new dies... go check it out! ;)

I created an ice rink... hand drawn walls were placed then colored... then I added some versamark ink to the "rink" and added some Amaze Glaze... it gave it that icy appearance I was going for... BBEOD is sliding in to shove that "puck" in the net! USA! USA! USA! oh yea.... *ahem* OK

Hey Kitties!!! YES!!! It's RELEASE SNEAK PEEK TIME!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!! Get ready to grab your swanky britches... this release is FABULOUS!!!!!

Here is my card featuring PJ! The UBER Cool Bear from The Cat's Pajamas!!!!

YES!!!! He is FREAKING AWESOME... just WAIT til you see all the stuff he can lean on.... UNLIMITED!!! WOOT!!!! I chose to use the Nightie Alpha set to spell out Hey and then the "you" is included in the Lean on Me set... I just covered up the Lean on part of the sentiment with a sticky pad! ;)

Hey Peeps! It's Crazy Time... I had a bit of a wahoo crazy week last week! Didn't get to the challenge and I'm the Hostess.... OOPSIE!!!!!! SO glad I have fabulous Crazy cohorts.....

This week it's a SKETCH! Created by Yours Truly... Frances makes it all FANCY for me!!! LOL

Here is my card using the OH SO CUTE stamp set called Eggstra Spectacular from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog, which by the way ends June 1st!

GA! CUTE right??? See his little bunneh butt? I used a Large Clear Sequin from Pretty Pink Posh for his tail after discovering that someone that has every color of fun flock known to man does NOT have Gray... UGH! BUT... I LOVE the added bling butt! LOL EVERY Bunneh needs a blingy butt! ;)
